Information We Collect

• Account information such as name, email address, role, school, and sign-in method.
• Class roster information added by a teacher or imported from Google Classroom.
• Activity content such as activity names, descriptions, AI assistant settings, chat messages, uploaded files, and generated artifacts.
• Basic usage information such as recent page activity and timestamps used for classroom management and troubleshooting.

Google Classroom Data

If a teacher imports a roster from Google Classroom, Sinq.Studio requests permission to read the teacher's Classroom courses and class rosters. We use this information only to create or update classes and student memberships.

We do not sell Google Classroom data, use it for advertising, or transfer it except as needed to provide roster import, comply with law, or protect the service.

How We Use Information

• To let users sign in and access the correct student, teacher, or admin features.
• To let teachers create classes, assign activities, and monitor student progress.
• To let students and teachers create activities, chat with AI assistants, and generate learning artifacts.
• To maintain, secure, debug, and improve the platform.

Student Data

Sinq.Studio is intended for teacher-directed classroom use. Teachers decide what student information to enter and should follow school policies. Students should not enter unnecessary personal information into chats or artifacts.

AI Providers and Tools

Activity messages and instructions may be sent to AI model providers and tool services when needed to generate responses, charts, simulations, presentations, or other artifacts. We send the information needed to complete the requested task.

Data Retention

We retain account, class, activity, and message data while the account or classroom use is active, unless deletion is requested or a shorter retention period is required by law or school policy.

Security

We use access controls, HTTPS, and operational safeguards to protect information. No internet service can guarantee perfect security.
